beards and facial hair....

so, weve been working on beards and facial hair in class... it is not fun... maybe if i do more applications it will get more fun.. but its slow right now...

were using crepe wool so we have to steam it, pull it apart and then hackle it...

more on that when i get some pictures to put up and some new tips...

Best Week Of My Life

this week i got to to go to the set of Jay Lees "Alyce"...

it was amazing... jenn hall is key makeup artist, if u dont know who she is, check her out she is amazing... if u get the crazies on dvd and watch the almost human fx makeup featurette shes on it... best teacher ever..

ive realized over the past week that this is what i want... this is where i want to be in my life.. this is what i want... i want to do makeup, i want to be on sets.. i want to make people bloody.. and do special fx...

im not sure if ill carry on with the whole associates degree in mortuary science... maybe.. ill need something to fall back on.. some steady work...

ive never felt a high like that before... i love that feeling...

it was amazing... my teacher Juliet Loveland is amazing.. it was great.. awesomeness...

So today was the IMATS show in Pasadena..

I only went for about 2 hours cuz i was sick...

Bought some cool stuff though, NYX makeup chair, new makeup kit, tons of news brushes from crown, and a ton of new special fx tools from royal & langnickel..

Starting Character Class tomorrow with Juliet... So excited..
